I have been painting for over 45 years and was first influenced by the wildlife paintings of Ray Harm.  I started with watercolor and later move to oil painting.  "Chipmunk Capers" and Bobwhites are two examples using designer's gauche.  As I moved into oil painting, I was influenced by Skip Gleissner a well-known miniature oil artist and began painting miniature oils under magnification.  Finally, I expanded my work to larger paintings in watercolor and oil and more recently in acrylic.   Painting is a joy and favorite past time.
